Instructions
Accessing Life
You can access Life through these methods:
- Visit life.leedsconservatoire.ac.uk
- Visit Space, expand the Systems menu on the top navigation bar, then choose Life
- Visit systems.leedsconservatoire.ac.uk and choose Life
Adding a For Sale Ad
On the Life homepage, access the dashboard by clicking on the cogwheel icon.
From the menu on the left, hover over “For Sale/To Let” and choose “Add new”
Editing your Ad
Complete all mandatory fields
Title: Name the item
Category: Please select the “For Sale” subcategory
Price: You are required to set a price on For Sale items.
Phone number: This is optional. If you are not comfortable sharing your phone number, you will be able to add alternative contact details in the description section.
Featured image: This is the image that will appear as the thumbnail for your post.
Click on “Add image”
You can either drag and drop your chosen files from your file browser, or click “Select Files”
If you click “Select Files”, your file browser will be displayed.
Navigate to and select your desired file and click the “upload” button on the bottom right.
Add any desired alt text or captions and then click “select”
Item Sold: Please come back and check this field to prevent unwanted contact.
Description: Any additional media and information you wish to include, including a description of the item and its condition, contact details, and details regarding collection or delivery.
To add additional media, click on the “Add Media” button in the Description section, and follow the same procedure as described in the Featured image section above.
When you are happy with your post, click Publish.
