Instructions
1. Log into Room Booker with your conservatoire username and password.
2. Using the menu at the top left, select ‘Room Booker’ and then ‘Room Usage’.
3. Enter the room (or type of room) you’d like to book in the search field.
4. Select “I” to activate the intensive search.
5. A list of rooms will appear.
6. Use the tick boxes next to the rooms to choose the ones you’re interested in.
7. Select “OK” at the bottom of the window.
8. You’ll be shown a week overview of the rooms availability.
9. Hovering over the week number gives you the start date. Please note this is in the American format (in this example, the week commenting date is 13th March 2017, displayed as 3/13/17).
10. You can change the week you’re viewing by selecting an alternate week. Remember rooms can only be booked up to 2 weeks in advance.
11. To make a booking, select the day you would like to book.
12. Double-click on the available time to start the booking process.
13. A floating window will appear.
14. Alter the start and end time in the ‘Booking Time’ fields here.
15. Select “Next”.
16. Double-check that you’ve got the correct room, and select “Next”.
17. In the request notes, enter the following information:
• Your name
• Your course and year of study
• How many people are attending the booking
18. Select “Next”.
19. In the Specify Event Details tab, select “Next”.
20. You can check your booking details using the “Show” button.
21. Select “Finish” to complete your booking request.
22. This information box will appear, showing your booking has been requested. Monitor your student email for updates about your booking.
