Converting and Sizing a JPG file (Windows)


Instructions

Converting

In your file browser, right-click on your file and hover over open with. In the menu that appears, click photos


In photos, click on the three dots to expand the menu and choose "Save as".


You can now choose a name and file location, and convert your image (in this case, originally a png) into a .jpeg

Once you are happy with this, click save


Your jpeg is now visible in your device’s file browser


Re-Sizing

In Photos, right click anywhere on your image and choose re-size


You can now manually enter the desired size. Notice that when you change the width, the height is automatically changed to preserve the image’s proportions, and vice versa. Once you are happy with the new size, click save.


You can now choose a name and file location for your resized image. Once you are happy with this, click save.


The image will now be visible in your device’s file browser
